Jacqui was born and raised in the Black Mountain area, but she is the only native in her family!
Jacqui attended AB Tech and received her dental hygiene degree in 2004. She enjoys as many continuing education hours as possible throughout the year, as she believes dentistry is constantly changing and improving.
Jacqui's mother was a dental assistant in Ireland, "her love of the profession inspired me to follow a similar path."
In 2005, Jacqui was introduced to Dr. BBH by a mutual friend. Her unique combination of professionalism with a fun atmosphere are what attracted to join Gentle Family Dentistry. Though two births and two deaths in her family took me her of work for a time, but Jacqui has always found her way back to this wonderful office!
Outside of the office her hobbies involve exploring all the beauty this area has to offer with her husband and two young daughters.

Jaime joined Dr. Bowman-Hensley's team in January of 2018, taking on the role of Patient Care and Insurance Coordinator after working nearly 5 years in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery as their Insurance Coordinator and gaining experience in surgical assisting. Both a clinical and administrative specialist, she "likes working with happy and healthy patients" and she also "likes the hands-on experience." Jaime grew up right here in WNC, in the beautiful "small town" of Black Mountain and is a mother of a spunky, wondrous little boy. She loves her big family, and in her free time she loves to cook, bake, going to the beach, spur of the moment road trips, and just as any true southern girl would... loves Footbal.
Why does she love Gentle Family Dentistry? "I love the staff. Everyone is fun and happy. I also love meeting new people and I love seeing lives change through their smiles."
